The Mahdi’s Verdict on Hamas

Disclaimer: The following is a personal reflection and exploration by Ibn Kahf. It does not represent the official voice of Imam Mahdi Nasser Mohammad Al-Yemeni, but is rather a sincere effort to ponder deeply and share insight on the greatest call to reflection in our age. Allahu Alam (Allah knows best).

The Mahdi’s Verdict on Hamas: Divine Justice Beyond Borders

“I am a supporter of Hamas… only the righteous and patriotic ones among them.”

But at the same time, he draws a divine red line:

“I will declare war on the Muslims who transgress against disbelievers who are peaceful.”

This is not the rhetoric of emotional reaction.

This is not blind loyalty.

This is the Qur’anic sword of justice - unsheathed only against oppression.

🕊 The Islam of Mercy and Justice

Imam Mahdi upholds a profound principle that the world has long forgotten:

There is no compulsion in religion. And there is no permission to harm any human unjustly.

Islam is not a religion of forced conversions.

It is not a faith of mob violence.

It is a path of mercy for all beings.

When he speaks of protecting even the peaceful disbeliever from the aggression of a Muslim, and condemns unjust killing as a violation of Allah’s decree, we see the true Sunnah of Rasulullah ﷺ revived.

“If my own brother killed a disbeliever unjustly, I would be the one to execute him by Allah’s command.”

What leader on Earth speaks like this?

What ruler places divine law above brotherhood and tribe?

This is the sign of the Awaited Mahdi.

🕌 Mecca and the Sacred Commands

Many confuse the verses about fighting idolaters. But Imam Mahdi uncovers the historical context:

Allah ordered their removal only from Mecca after Hajj al-Wada’... not as a license for indiscriminate killing.

“Even if they are clinging to the curtain of the Kaaba… kill them ONLY if they remain there in defiance after the sacred months.”

Such tafsir is not from books... it is from light bestowed by Allah.

⚖️ Qur’anic Balance in Action

He brings to life the verses we recite but seldom act upon:

“Allah does not forbid you from being just and kind to those who do not fight you.”
[Surah al-Mumtahana: 8]

This is Islam.

Not what the extremists claim.

Not what the haters twist.

But the pure, divine blueprint for coexistence.

💚 Final Reflection

Imam Mahdi’s statement is a manifesto for divine leadership. It offers the world a preview of what righteous khilafah looks like:

Not conquest.

Not control.

But the establishment of divine justice on Earth.

It separates the true mujahid from the unjust warrior.

It distinguishes jihad from savagery.

It draws a line between resistance and transgression.

And it stands as a mirror to every movement claiming the banner of Islam.

Let the world know:

The Mahdi will not spare a tyrant - Muslim or disbeliever.
The Mahdi will not betray the covenant of mercy - nor break the limits set by Allah.

And those who truly follow the Mahdi…

Will be known not by their slogans,

But by their unwavering commitment to divine justice, mercy, and truth... for all mankind.

May we be among them.

Bismillah. Let the fire of Allahu Alam purify us. Let our hearts burn with yearning for justice, not vengeance. For mercy, not cruelty.

Let this be our pledge.

🕊 For Allah, with the Mahdi, and in defense of all that is right.
